
The Tema Development Corporation Ghana Ltd (TDC) has sworn in a new board, led by Hon. Ashai Odamtten, MP for Tema East.
The board members include Mr. Courage K.M. Nunekpeku, Mr. Ebenezer Sam, Mr. Adam Awal, Rev. Mrs. Barbara L. Ayesu, Mr. Elliot Gordor, and Mr. Abdul Gafaru Ali Esq.
The swearing-in ceremony was attended by Hon. Kenneth Gilbert Adjei, Minister of Works and Housing, who charged the new board to elevate the company’s role in tackling Ghana’s housing challenges.
The Minister emphasized the government’s commitment to revitalizing the housing sector and reinforcing institutional accountability.
TDC has a strong track record of excellence, ranking among Ghana’s top five most profitable state-owned enterprises. The new board is expected to build on this legacy and drive the corporation’s mission forward.
“Let us build, let us innovate, and let us transform Tema Metro – and by extension, Ghana – one home at a time,” the Minister urged.
The board’s mandate includes promoting the developmental mission of the corporation and delivering quality housing solutions to meet the growing needs of Ghanaians. With their diverse expertise and commitment to excellence, the new board is poised to take TDC to greater heights.
The Minister’s charge to the board highlighted the importance of collaboration and collective will in achieving TDC’s goals. “The task ahead is great, but so must be our collective will to succeed,” he said.
With the new board in place, TDC is set to continue its legacy of excellence and make a lasting impact on Ghana’s housing sector.
