
Ghana’s former Chief Justice, Justice Kwasi Anin-Yeboah, has been appointed as the Deputy Chairperson of the FIFA Adjudicatory Chamber for a four-year term. The announcement was made during the 75th FIFA Congress held in Asunción, Paraguay.
In his new role, Justice Anin-Yeboah will play a key part in upholding ethical standards in international football. The Adjudicatory Chamber examines cases brought by the Investigatory Chamber and decides on proceedings and sanctions based on FIFA regulations.
Justice Anin-Yeboah brings extensive legal and administrative expertise to the position, having served as Ghana’s 14th Chief Justice and held positions in football governance both locally and internationally.
He will work alongside distinguished members from around the world, including María Claudia Rojas from Colombia as Chairperson and members from countries such as Chile, Papua New Guinea, the Philippines, Nigeria, Jamaica, and Turkey.
The appointment is a recognition of Justice Anin-Yeboah’s expertise and commitment to promoting ethical standards in sports. His leadership is expected to reinforce efforts to safeguard the integrity of football globally.
