
The National Workplace Inspection and Compliance Task Force has donated a comprehensive first aid package to the Ministry of Labour, Jobs and Employment to enhance workplace emergency preparedness and response.
The donation, presented to the Minister, Dr. Rashid Pelpuo, on Wednesday, forms part of the Task Force’s ongoing efforts to promote occupational health and safety standards across the country. The first aid package is expected to support the Ministry’s capacity to manage medical emergencies that may arise during official duties or within its operational environment.
Receiving the package, Dr. Pelpuo expressed heartfelt appreciation to the Task Force for the timely gesture. He underscored the importance of such partnerships in fostering safe and compliant workspaces nationwide.
“This collaboration reinforces our shared commitment to workplace safety and positions the Ministry to lead by example in responding swiftly to health-related incidents,” Dr. Pelpuo stated.
The Task Force reaffirmed its dedication to supporting institutions with tools and training that prioritize the well-being of Ghanaian workers, aligning with national policies on occupational safety and health.
