The National Democratic Congress (NDC), will return to Peace FM’s Kokrokoo Morning Show after a prolonged absence, the National Chairman of the party has revealed.
This decision comes after several meetings between the party and the station’s management, where an amicable solution was reached.
The party, in May 2020 withdrew from the Kokrokoo show, citing concerns about bias and unfair treatment by the host, Kwame Sefa Kayi.
The party accused Sefa Kayi of being a “dictator” and criticized the show’s “unfair paneling system”
As part of the reconciliation process, Kwame Sefa Kayi, on February 2025, publicly appealed to the NDC to end its boycott, emphasizing the importance of reconciliation and urging the party to “let bygones be bygones”
Making appearance on the Show on Friday, June 20, 2025, Mr. Johnson Asiedu Nketiah confirmed that the NDC is ending its years-long boycott of the program.
“We are back to the Kokrokoo Show again after years of absence. It’s important for us to reconnect with the Ghanaian people and engage in the national discourse through platforms like this” he said.
Asiedu Nketiah, emphasize the NDC’s commitment to open dialogue and transparency.
