
The Ghana Police Service has apprehended Malcom Fraizer, alias Nii Djan, in connection with the murder of a man following a violent altercation in Accra.
The arrest was made on July 1, 2025, after an intelligence-led operation by the National Operations Directorate (NOD) Intelligence Unit. The development followed the circulation of a video linked to the incident, which helped investigators locate and apprehend the suspect.
According to the police, the incident occurred on April 1, 2025, and stemmed from a physical fight between Fraizer and the deceased. Preliminary investigations suggest that the altercation arose after Fraizer discovered the man was allegedly in a relationship with his ex-wife. During questioning, Fraizer confessed to engaging in the physical fight.
Fraizer is currently in police custody and is assisting with ongoing investigations.
The Police has not yet released further details about the identity of the deceased or the circumstances surrounding the incident. However, the police has assured the public that it remains committed to ensuring justice is served.
