
The Ghana Revenue Authority (GRA) has a new nine-member board, sworn in by Finance Minister Dr. Cassiel Ato Baah Forson.
Led by Chairman George Ricketts Hagan, a former Deputy Finance Minister, the board has been tasked with driving revenue growth and ensuring integrity in tax collection.
The GRA plays a crucial role in national development, generating revenue that funds government policies.
Dr. Forson emphasized the need for the board to take decisive action against smuggling and to prioritize domestic revenue mobilization.
The new board comprises:
1. Hon. George Ricketts Hagan – Chairperson
2. Mr. Anthony Sarpong (GRA Commissioner)
3. Mr. Patrick Nomo
4. Hon. Elizabeth Ofosu-Adjare
5. Dr. Zakaria Mumuni
6. Madam Faustina Nelson
7. Mr. George Ayiretey
8. Hon. Laadi Ayamba
9. Mr. Francis-Xavier Sosu
