The Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Regional Integration has announced that visa applications submitted to the Embassy of Ghana in Washington, D.C. are currently being processed. The Ministry assured the general public that completed visas will be mailed directly to applicants.
In a statemebt issued on Thursday, June 19, 2025, the Ministry highlighted measures taken to improve communication and service delivery. These include the expansion of telephone lines at the Embassy to facilitate timely updates and responses to applicants.

Additionally, the working hours of the Embassy have been temporarily extended from 9:00 a.m. to 8:00 p.m. to ensure urgent and effective handling of visa-related concerns.
