A new cocoa producer price will take effect nationwide on Friday, February 13, 2026.
The revised price for the 2025/26 cocoa season has been set at GH¢41,392.00 per tonne, translating to GH¢2,587.00 per 64-kilogram bag of Grade I and II cocoa beans.
The new rate replaces the earlier announced price for the season and will apply to all cocoa purchases across the country going forward.
In addition, farmers delivering 30 kilograms of naked ex-scale beans will receive GH¢1,241.76 per load under the updated pricing structure.
The adjustment is part of broader efforts to respond to prevailing market conditions in Ghana, one of the world’s leading cocoa producers. The development is expected to generate discussion among farmers and industry stakeholders as the season progresses.
