Rumour: President Akufo-Addo releases Deputy Ministerial nominees list

Word on the street and on a number of online portals in the country suggests entertainment pundit, music producer and business manager, Mark Okraku Mantey is to serve in Nana Akufo-Addo’s government as a Deputy Minister for Tourism, Arts and Culture.

Also, daughter of Business magnate and owner of the Angel group of companies, Dr Kwaku Oteng is to serve in the President’s second term of office. Francisca Oteng, if reports are anything to go by, will serve as a Deputy Minister for Fisheries and Acquaculture.

The President’s list, despite having several new faces still has some prominent figures from his first tenure including Kwaku Kwarteng and Charles Adu Boahen who are to serve as Deputy Ministers for Trade and Industries and Finance respectively.
