Cape Coast: Final year SHS student commits suicide

A final year SHS Student has committed suicide at Abura, a surburb of the cape Coast metro in the central region.

The deceased was a student of the St. Mary’s boys Senior High School at Apowa in the Western region.

The body of the 21-year-old, Muhammad Kojo Musa was discovered hanging on a window bar in his room.

His body has now been conveyed to the Cape Coast metro morgue for preservation, awaiting autopsy with investigation underway.

The father of the deceased, Kobina Anntobam has been sharing views on the recent happening, albeit in a lot of grief.

It’s unclear what led to the young boy’s decision to commit suicide but parents of the deceased say he seemed fine and did not show any signs of depression or any other related condition prior to his unfortunate demise.
