National Security Minister, Albert Kan Dapaah

Government has met with conveners of the #FixTheCountry campaign in a bid to understand their concerns and map out a pathway for the group’s demonstration slated for Sunday, May 9, 2021.

The Minister of National Security, Mr Albert Kan-Dapaah, on Thursday together with the Foreign Affairs Minister, Defense Minister and some other high ranking government officials held a meeting with the conveners of the planned demonstration.

According to a facebook post by the Ministry of Information, “in acknowledging the healthy conversation that has been started following a social media campaign, #FixTheCountry, the Minister invited the group to explore further dialogue on their concerns.”

“The conveners in turn expressed their pleasure at the invitation and the level of seriousness with which their concerns have been taken by government,” the post stated further.
