Members of the Newly Inaugurated Board

Hon. Asiamah after swearing in the Board members reminded them of the tough task ahead to reduce the crash figures being recorded in the country.

He added that, after Prez Nana Akufo-Addo had enhanced the powers of the Road Safety body, measures and policies must be put in place to improve the current situation, by employing the Digital Ghana Agenda in all activities.

Giving counsel to the sworn-in Board Members, he entreated them and Management of the NRSA to work hand-in-hand to achieve set targets and the overall Ghana Beyond Aid agenda.

“What will be the use of power if you do not perform? We are here to serve mother Ghana. If you perform well, your mandate will be renewed.”

He called on the Motor Transport and Traffic Directorate (MTTD) of the Ghana Police Service to intensify their enforcement activities to bring sanity to our roads.

The Members of the Board subsequently paid a working visit to the NRSA Head Office and met with some Management Staff.
