The Ghana Association of Real Estate Brokers (GAREB) has held an induction ceremony for its new executives.
The ceremony which was held on March 9 at the Montgomery Residences also provided an avenue for the outdooring of GAREB; the new acronym of the association.
The new executive comprises Jacob Ansong (President), Ebenezer Oppong Aboagye (Vice President), Evans Tetteh (Treasurer), Benjamin Agyemang (Organizing and Social Director), Ransford Alexe (Membership Director)
Catherine Opoku-Ampoma (Secretary) as well as Dennis Abanke (Social Media and Website Director)
Speaking at the ceremony, the president of the association, Mr. Jacob Ansong said he is optimistic the association will drive growth in the real estate industry in Ghana.
“I believe ardently that GAREB unwavering mission is to invest in the future, by sharing knowledge to develop the Real Estate Industry to best support the growth of Ghana and our client’s business goals. Members’ ideas will be warmly received and utilized so long as they fall within the interest of the Association and are practicable,” he said.
Vice President of the Association, Mr. Ebenezer Aboagye in an interview with NewsWire GH explained that though the association was known as Ghana Association of Real Estate Brokers, it used GAR as its acronym.
“Formerly we were known to be Ghana Association of Real Estate Brokers but we used the name GAR so today was a day we outdoored the full acronym GAREB. So, GAR in the past is the same as GAREB today,” Mr. Aboagye said.
He averred that GAREB has a mandate to protect the public interest in real estate brokerage transactions.
Ghana Association of Real Estate Agents combines extensive knowledge of industry trends, business processes, market research and analysis, property evaluation, business development, consumer response and quality control.
