Singer Gyakie has Best West African Artiste at Nigeria’s 2022 Headies Awards

The Ghanaian went past five-time Grammy Award-winning Beninese Singer Angelique Kidjo and others to emerge winner.

Other established acts in the Best West African Artiste category included KiDi(Ghana), Amaarae(Ghana), Aya Nakamura (Mali) and Nelson Freitas(Cape Verde).

The 15th Headies Awards was held on September 4, 2022 at the COBB Energy Performing Arts Center in Atlanta, Georgia.

“From Ghana to Naija, thanks for blessing the hardworking and big love to the fans,” Gyakie wrote in a tweet.

Since her entrance into the music world, Gyakie has continually put out hits after smashes, which has fans humming her melodies.

She has been on a winning streak ever since the release of her debut SEED EP, and her expanding influence on the African music industry has been massively impressive.
