Social Media has erupted with tons of reactions following the sentencing of actress and social media personality Rosemond Brown,  to 90 days in prison over nude pictures she posted with her son in June last year.

The judge handed down the sentence after pleas for a noncustodial sentence from the defense and prosecution who argued that the accused was a first time offender, had expressed remorse and was also the breadwinner of the family.

According to the presiding judge the sentence is  meant to be a deterrent to others who also post such pictures.

However many social media users believe the sentencing is harsh, high handed and excessive and can be equated to killing a fly with a sledge hammer.

Below are some of the views expressed on social media.

National Communication officer of the NDC Sammy is urging president Akufo-Addo to pardon Miss Brown.

Some others also hold a contrary view arguing that the sentencing will serve as lesson the offender and many others.
