I was a “studio rat” before fame – KiDi
Dennis Nana Dwamena best known in the entertainment industry as KiDi says he was a ‘studio rat’ before he rose to fame.
In an interview with Sharon Onella on Radio GIJ, KiDi disclosed that because he loved music, he began training in the studios of Lynx Entertainment before he qualified for MTN Hitmaker.
“During my Uni days I used be at lynx entertainment almost every day observing studio sessions, learning how to produce though I was not signed on to the label back then, I was just the studio rat”, he said.
Kidi also revealed that life before fame was fun because he lived like a “free-spirited” person.
The Adiepena hit maker disclosed that he is currently working on a full 14 track album called Sugar which will be released in a month.
He is also working on some collaborations, a joint EP with his label mate Kuami Eugene and tours all around the world, ‘this year is power packed for me and the whole team, he added.
KiDi who currently has a new song with Kwesi Arthur titled Mr. Badman said he decided to shift from love related songs to something different and that was when Mr. Badman came in mind and ‘I decide to have Kwesi Arthur on it because his ‘Don’t keep me waiting’ song with me was a success’, he revealed
The Mr. Badman song is basically about leaving a young man to enjoy life and be free without hating.
