Astute Ghanaian journalist, Jerome Otchere has been named as the Chief Executive Officer (CEO) of Kenpong Football Academy.
The Kenpong Football Academy was founded by Ghanaian business mogul, Kennedy Agyepong to develop young footballers.
The main objective of the academy is to teach young players how to play attractive football, to meet specific standard of clubs.
However, the former Kotoko Express newspaper editor has been handed the mantle as the CEO of the academy.
Otchere will work with former Ghana gaffer, Kwesi Appiah, who is the head coach of the Academy and Francis Oti Akenteng, who is the director of football development for the ambitious football Academy.
He is expected to use his vast experience as a communicator who is well versed on issues related to Ghana football.
The affable media brain holds a Masters in Journalism from the Ghana Institute of Journalism (GIJ).
He is also a member of the Sports Writers Association of Ghana (SWAG) and the Institute of Public Relations Ghana.
