Kweku Wina has been crowned winner of YFM’s Rapture II rap competition.

The Ashanti Regional representative won a GH¢10,000 cash prize among others.

After weeks of intensive rap competition, 10 contestants sailed through to the finals for the coveted ‘Rap god’ crown.

Rappers from Accra proved they have the best of substance in rap music as they dominate the finals with six (6) contestants; Kwaku Wina, Ragnar, Kweku Mortey, Blvvk Life, Qalipo and MG1.

Two (2) contestants from Kumasi were also able to secure spots in the final; Kay Burna and Ampaabene.

The contest which saw intense participation and competition from all contestants was also a showcase of the rich talents of Ghanaian rappers.

Elated by his win, Kweku Wina expressed profound appreciation to Y FM and its partners for organizing the Rapture rap reality show.

He disclosed that he was highly impressed by the maiden edition and decided to try out for the second edition not only to make a name for himself but to also develop his craft, and showcase his talent to the world.
