Finance Minister, Ken Ofori Atta is today addressing the nation on steps government has taken to bring Ghana’s economy back on track following the rather harsh impact of COVID-19 on economies the world over.

The minister is expected to, among other things, highlight the several interventions put in place by government to safeguard livelihoods in this rather trying period.

The Finance Minister is also expected to give some clarity to government’s directives on the imposition of some new taxes and an increase in others in the nation’s bid to raise enough revenue to deal with the impact of COVID-19 on the country’s economy.
