Lower Manya Krobo: Man found dead in a drain at Madaam Junction

A man believed to be in his late 50s has been found dead in a drain at Madaam Junction, a suburb of Agormanya in the Lower Manya Krobo Municipality, NewsWire GH can confirm.

The incident is said to have happened in the morning of Sunday, September 5, 2021.

Though residents of the area could not claim any knowledge of the deceased’s identity, the family showed up from Nuaso Ngmertey following a news bulletin on Rite FM.

The family who identified the deceased as Kwame reported that he left home in the early hours of Sunday with his Radio and Television loud in his room.

Police investigations are currently ongoing to ascertain the cause of his death before handing the body to the family.
