Samuel Okudzeto Ablakwa, North Tongu MP

Member of Parliament for the North Tongu Constituency, Samuel Okudzeto Ablakwa appears to be one, if not the most connected MP to his constituents.

From the MP’s policy of abolishing all fees borne by victims of sexual offences in the Constituency to providing modern equipment to health facilities among others, the MP is now improving the economic conditions of his constituents by employing local artisans to replace furniture in some second cycle institutions and well as CHIPS compounds the North Tongu area.

The MP in a Facebook post described the move as modest efforts aimed at creating more economic opportunities for young people in the constituency.

“Local carpenters have been contracted to replace all dining furniture at ABaST SHS, furnish the new Alabonu CHPS, construct pavilions at BaSEC,” SHS; other local workers are currently refurbishing the Juapong Military Post,”Mr. Ablakwa wrote.

“Another army of locals will this weekend commence the construction of a modern Kindergarten project to be attached to the Aveyime Methodist School Complex,” he added.
