The Yilo Krobo Municipal Assembly led by the MCE, Hon. Ebenezer Tetteh Kupualor has today, Friday, September 10, 2021 commissioned a CHPS compound to the Ghana Health Services to enhance the delivery of health care for the people of Ahinkwa and its surrounding communities.

The facility has two bedrooms, a kitchen and a washroom for nursing staff.
The other rooms are the outpatients’ department (OPD), dispensary, antenatal clinic, labour room and family planning and public health clinic.

Speaking to the chiefs and people of Ahinkwa this afternoon, Hon. Ebenezer T. Kupualor assured the community that the Assembly will continue to provide them with the relevant amenities to make life in the rural area comfortable.

He urged them to live in peace and harmony with one another as he promised to add a poly tank and a borehole to provide potable water to the Ahinkwa community and constant water supply to the health post.

JOICF, a civil society organization running a health project seeking to improve the maternal health situation in Yilo, Lower Manya and Upper Manya Krobo also used the platform to introduce its community volunteers to the community and asked the community to support their activities.
